Su comarca, sus extinguidos volcanes<\/em>, l&#8217;historiador Esteve Paluzie i Cantalozella destaca la fama que el tint vermell d&#8217;Andrin\u00f2poli va atorgar a Olot, gr\u00e0cies a la puresa de les seves aig\u00fces, que atr\u00e8ien fabricants de tota Catalunya. Aquest pigment s&#8217;obtenia mitjan\u00e7ant un proc\u00e9s complex que inclo\u00efa ingredients com greixos, orina i sang animal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">La instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 plasma el paisatge buc\u00f2lic olot\u00ed del quadre <em>L&#8217;Estiu<\/em> del paisatgista Joaquim Vayreda, i explora el significat del <strong>vermell<\/strong> en els teixits i el seu rol hist\u00f2ric en les estructures de poder. El color s&#8217;utilitzava per marcar jerarquies econ\u00f2miques i pol\u00edtiques que, igual que en l&#8217;actualitat, es perceben com inamovibles.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em><strong>Andrin\u00f2poli<\/strong> is an installation that proposes a transitional space between exhibition and construction: a place where the viewer must work for the artwork to exist, exploring concepts of resistance, negotiation, narrative and dialogue.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>In his 1860 book, Olot. Su comarca, sus extinguidos volcanes, historian Esteve Paluzie i Cantalozella highlights the fame that the red dye of Andrin\u00f2poli brought to Olot, thanks to the purity of its waters, which attracted manufacturers from all over Catalonia. This pigment was obtained through a complex process that included ingredients such as fats, urine and animal blood.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>The installation embodies the bucolic landscape of Olot from the painting L&#8217;Estiu by landscape artist Joaquim Vayreda, and explores the meaning of <strong>vermell<\/strong> in textiles and its historical role in power structures.
