Mapa Lìquid
Un mapa és una representació gràfica i simbòlica d’una porció de la terra. Poden variar en escala i detall, mostrant característiques geogràfiques com fronteres, cossos d’aigua, carreteres, relleu topogràfic i assentaments humans. Dibuixar mapes ens connecta amb la memòria, recrea emocions i experiències que hem viscut en llocs concrets. La mà recorre el paper, dibuixa passos, imatges, olors i ens recorda l’esforç físic del caminar. El dibuix deforma les distàncies, engrandeix el que ens crida l’atenció i ignora el que no ens agrada. Dibuixar mapes ens dóna la llibertat de crear partitures geogràfiques que s’accentuen, s’aturen o que editen la informació. Aquesta trobada de dibuix és un espai per dibuixar junts, una acció col·lectiva fent servir líquids.
Aquest mapa està acompanyat d’una peça d’àudio que explora, imagina, rumia i narra històries sobre l’aigua. Des de la nostra connexió profundament personal amb els líquids fins als antics mites que envolten la pluja i el tro. La peça d’àudio també guia l’espectador a través del procés de dibuix i els convida a contribuir al mapa mitjançant els seus propis dibuixos.
A map is a graphical and symbolic representation of a portion of the Earth. They can vary in scale and detail, depicting geographic features such as boundaries, bodies of water, roads, topographic relief, and human settlements. Drawing maps connects us with memory, recreating emotions and experiences we have had in specific places. The hand moves across the paper, sketching steps, images, smells, and reminding us of the physical effort of walking. The drawing distorts distances, magnifies what captures our attention, and disregards what we find displeasing. Drawing maps grants us the freedom to create geographical scores that emphasize, pause, or modify information. This drawing session is a space for collaborative drawing, a collective endeavor employing liquid mediums.

From our deeply personal connection with liquids to ancient myths surrounding rain and thunder.
